How to get an eSIM?
If you are not an Epic mobile subscriber, you can now connect with the mobile plan that better suits your needs and get the eSIM.
If your are an existing subscriber to any Epc mobile plan, visit an Epic store in order to change your physical SIM to eSIM.
How to activate the eSIM on your device?
Upon getting your new eSIM, you will also receive a QR code to activate your eSIM profile.
1. Connect to any available WiFi netwrok with the eSIM-enabled device on which you want to activate your eSIM profile.
2. Scan the unique QR activation code and your eSIM profile will automatically be installed on your device.
What is an eSIM?
eSIM is a digital SIM card that is already installed in the device, offering new potentials to the user, greater convenience and security. In other words, it is the SIM card as you knew it until today, but without its physical form. In practice, it's a tiny chip that is embedded in your device that now replaces the physical SIM card that you had to insert in your device in order to connect to Epic's mobile network.
Now, with the eSIM you no longer need to insert and remove an external chip in your device like you used to with the traditional SIM cards.

Forget the physical SIM cards, you no longer need to remove the SIM card from one device in order to insert it to another. Now you just activate your number with eSIM by scanning a QR code, easily and quickly.
2 phone numbers on the same device
Ability to have 2 numbers in one device, an advantange for those devices that can accomodate only 1 SIM card. This is great for having both work and personal phone numbers on the same device, provided that your device is eSIM compatible.

1. What is an eSIM card?
eSIM (embedded-SIM) is a new type of SIM card, which is embedded in an eSIM compatible device. Like a physical SIM card, an eSIM provides your connection to the Epic network so you can use your mobile plan.
2. What are the benefits of using eSIM?
It is fast, secure and easy to activate. Also, it offers you the opportunity to have both work and personal phone numbers on the same device. It is the ideal solution when traveling abroad and you want to have a 2nd number of the country you are visiting in your device.
3. How secure is an eSIM?
eSIM provides the same level of security as any physical SIM. Moreover, since it is not physical it can't be stolen and removed from your mobile device and in such a scenario, your eSIM profile can be remotely deactivated immediately.
4. Which devices support eSIM?
Although there are numerous devices that support eSIM, not all of them have been tested and approved on our network. Below you can find the list of devices that have been tested and we can guarantee that work properly on our network.

5. Can I have a physical SIM and an eSIM on the same device?
Given that your existing device supports both a physical SIM and an eSIM of course you can!
6. Can I have more than one eSIM cards in my device?
Yes, you can. The number of eSIM profiles that can be installed depends on the device specifications.
7. I am not an Epic customer. How can I get an eSIM?
Just subscribe to the Mobile Telephony plan that best suits your needs and get your eSIM now:
- Through Epic's website
- At any Epic Store
- At selected associates’ stores
- Through Epic's Telesales department by calling 159
8. Is the eSIM available with all mobile telephony plans?
Yes, eSIM is available with all mobile telephony plans.
9. Can I have an eSIM if I am a prepaid customer?
If you are a new customer that will buy a Prepaid pack, then is available only with a physical SIM card. However, once you are activated you can request to change from physical to eSIM.
10. Is the eSIM available with Multi-SIM service?
Yes, eSIM is available with Multi-SIM service.
11. Do Epic eSIMs support 5G?
Yes, you just need to be using a 5G and eSIM compatible device.
12. Can I still use my eSIM if I travel internationally?
Yes, you can normally enjoy roaming like using a physical SIM card.
13. Can I call and text from both mobile physical SIM and eSIM?
Yes, you can make and receive calls and texts from both numbers.
14. What are the charges for eSIM?
The cost of a new eSIM is the same with the cost of a physical SIM card. With just €4.99 once off you can change your physical SIM to an eSIM.
15. If I change to eSIM does my existing SIM card remain active?
When changing from physical SIM to eSIM your existing card will become deactive. However, postpaid subscribers that wish to keep their number on both SIM cards can do so by subscribing to Multi SIM service.
16. Can I go back from eSIM to physical SIM?
You can go back to physical SIM at any time. Just visit any Epic or selected associates' store. For replacing your SIM card, fees apply.
17. I am a corporate customer, can I activate eSIM?
If you are a corporate customer, contact your account manager to request the replacement of the physical SIM card you are using with an eSIM.

2. I have an Android device, how can I set up my eSIM?
When you request a new eSIM card you will receive a QR code. Just make sure you are connected to the internet, scan the QR code with your mobile phone camera and follow the instructions.
Alternatively:
Settings –> Connections –> SIM Card manager –> Add mobile plan –> Scan carrier QR Code
3. I have an Apple device, how can I set up my eSIM?
When you request a new eSIM card you will receive a QR code. Just make sure you are connected to the internet, scan the QR code with your mobile phone camera and follow the instructions.
Alternatively:
Settings –> Mobile Data –> Add Data Plan –> Scan carrier QR Code
4. How do I delete my eSIM profile?
From the setting of your mobile device, find your eSIM profile and select to delete or remove eSIM.
5. Is the QR Code for my eSIM unique?
The QR code that you will receive during your activation is unique. Once you scan it and install your eSIM profile, this QR code cannot be used again. We suggest that you keep your QR code in case you need to remove the eSIM from your device and install it in a new one. In this case, once you delete your eSIM profile from your existing device, you can use the QR code to install it in a new one.
1. What should I do if I block my eSIM PIN?
Along with the QR code that you will receive during the activation of your eSIM, you will also receive your PIN code. If for any reason you block your eSIM pin you should visit an Epic or associates' store for getting new eSIM card.
2. Can I transfer my eSIM to a new device?
You can transfer your eSIM to a new device at anytime. You will need to delete your eSIM profile from your existing device and use the QR code that you received at the time of activation to activate your eSIM to your new device.
3. What should I do if I lose my eSIM device with an activated eSIM profile?
If you lose your eSIM device you should contact our 136 or visit any store in order to deactivate your eSIM. You can replace your eSIM at any store with a new one, keeping your existing number. For replacing your SIM card, fees apply.
4. What should I do if I sell my eSIM device with an activated eSIM profile to another user?
Before selling your device, you should delete your eSIM profile.
5. What should I do if my eSIM profile is deleted from the device?
If you accidentally delete your eSIM profile, just use the QR code that you received at the time of activation to activate your eSIM again.
6. What should I do if my device is stolen with an active eSIM?
If your device is stolen we strongly advice you to call 136 or visit an Epic store to deactivate your eSIM. You can replace your eSIM at any store with a new one, keeping your existing number. For replacing your SIM card, fees apply.
Additionally, you should follow the bellow steps to maximize the possibilities to be found by the police:
- Report your handset as stolen to the police and provide them with the handset’s IMEI.
- The police will issue a "Certificate of Loss". Submit the "Certificate of Loss” that will be issued by the police and present your ID card at any Epic Store"
7. What should I do if I am planning to return or repair my mobile phone?
If you are planning to return or send your device for service, you should delete your eSIM profile. If your device is not in a working condition, you should visit any store and request a new eSIM.
8. Will my eSIM compatible Apple Watch be supported?
Αt the moment eSIM service is not available for Apple Watches.
9. Will my eSIM compatible Android Smartwatch be supported?
Αt the moment eSIM service is not available for Android Watches.
10. What happens to my Mobile Telephony Plan if I erase my eSIM?
Your postpaid or prepaid plan will not be affected if you erase your eSIM. If you want to cancel your subscription you should visit an Epic store.
11. Can I use iMessage and FaceTime on both mobile numbers on my iPhone?
iMessage and Facetime can be used only with one mobile number. This can be selected during setup. You can change it at any time though on the settings menu->Messages->Send & Receive
