Ways to activate the data booster for Broadband in a Box service to get increased speeds:
*The SMS must be sent from the mobile number that is selected as the preferred contact number of the service.
The data booster service is available when you have reached the maximum usage allowed as per the Fair Usage Policy of the corresponding Broadband in a Box Plan. Once you have reached 90% of data usage as per the Fair Usage Policy, Epic will inform you via SMS that your usage is reaching its limit and when the total usage exceeds the Fair Usage Policy of your Broadband in a Box plan the connection speed will be limited to 1Mbps download and 512Kbps upload. You may purchase a data booster of 10GB to increase the download and upload speeds for 10GB that can be used until the end of the current month. Multiple Data boosters can be purchased within a current month.
Fair usage policy applies for each plan. For the Broadband in a Box Medium plan, the fair usage policy is set at 40GB, for the Broadband in a Box Large plan at 60GB and for the Broadband in a Box XLarge plan at 80GB.
Fair usage policy for the unlimited internet access service:
After the total usage (total usage includes all download and upload data) in each calendar month exceeds the Fair Usage Policy (as mentioned above), epic reserves the right to manage the speed (1Mbps download and 512Kbps upload) of the connection to protect the performance of the network and to ensure the best experience of all users of epic data service.

Special Terms & Conditions for Broadband in a Box service:
• The service is available to new and existing subscribers who buy the Broadband in a Box device with a 24month or monthly contract with unlimited access in the internet.
• Broadband in a Box service can only be used with the device, with which Broadband in a box service was purchased.
• What is referred to as the maximum speed is not the estimated service delivery speed but the maximum speed the subscriber can receive when it is available from the network while using the service. The actual network speed may vary depending on different factors such as location, number of users, weather conditions, type of application, etc.
• In case of termination of the contract before the expiry of the minimum period of 24 months, the subscriber shall pay cancellation fees. The cancellation fees are calculated based on the total cost of each Broadband in a Box plan received for purchasing the device and are prorated for the remaining months.
• The service can be used only under epic’s network within Cyprus. The service cannot be used during international roaming.
