Information concerning the automatic WiFi SSID (network name) change at home or the office.

You must register your number by December 8th, otherwise your connection will be deactivated.
Registration is mandatory by law.
After the recent name change of our company to epic, we will proceed to change the modem’s WiFi name (SSID) for all Internet & Telephony subscriptions, over the next few weeks. Affected customers will be notified accordingly depending on the date the change will occur.
Who is affected:
Internet & Telephony Subscribers who are currently using their modem’s factory-default values (SSID: MTN WIFI XXXX).
Instructions:
Following the SSID name change, all WiFi devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc) will have to be reconnected to the new SSID name: epic WiFi XXXXX.
Password will remain the same.
- If you did not change your password: retrieve it from the back of the modem with the indication WPA2 (as illustrated below).
- If you changed your password: use your custom password (if you do not remember it contact our call center for assistance).
Who are not affected:
Internet & Telephony Subscribers who have changed their SSID to a custom name.
