Prepaid Registration

Epic Prepaid PAYG Registration is the process of registering the PAYG number holder, whether it is an individual or a legal entity. Specifically, it includes the provision of the necessary personal information (name, surname, identity number) or, in the case of a company/organization, the corresponding corporate details (registered name and registration number).

 This procedure aims:

1. The identification of the owner and/or user of the SIM

2. To improve service, and

3. For compliance with Law no. 63(I)/2024 on the Identification of Holders and/or Users of Identity Cards of Subscribers of Prepaid Mobile Telephony Services, as amended from time to time

 *The acceptance of the solemn declaration is a necessary prerequisite for the completion of the registration.

a) The Registration process applies to all Epic Prepaid PAYG connections (existing and new connections), regardless of the device through which the service of the PAYG connection is used, including alarm systems, home automation devices, smartphones, and more.

b) Registration of the number is only permitted for adults. If the end user of the service is a minor (<18 years old), the registration must be completed by an adult, who will then declare the minor as the user. This can be done only in Epic Stores and not electronically.

Starting from December 4, 2025, customers will need to complete the registration process in order for their connection to be activated. In case of non-timely registration, then you will not be able to receive service on your PAYG connection. The owner of the service will need to register as well as the user if it is a different person.

Registration is mandatory by law and must be completed by December 8, 2025. After this date, your Epic PAYG connection will be terminated.

If you do not complete the Epic Prepaid PAYG Registration by December 8, 2025, your service will be deactivated. This means you will no longer be able to make calls, send messages, or use mobile data. Additionally, your service and your balance will be permanently lost.

The Registration process can be completed:

1.  Online through Epic’s website at the following link

2.  At one of Epic’s stores, where the physical presence of the owner, and the user if it is a different person, is required.

* For identification involving legal entities, registration of a user of the PAYG service, or cases where the SIM card is embedded in a non-removable device (e.g., elevators or alarm systems), you will need to visit one of the Epic stores.

1.  Verify your SIM card (via OTP or phone number/ICCID pairing).

2.  Upload a photo of your ID.

3.  Take a selfie for verification.

4.  Accept the Solemn Declaration.

 * Before you begin, make sure you have your identification documents and your Epic PayAsYouGo SIM ready.

a.  Cypriot citizens | Cypriot ID card / Passport
b.  Citizens of EU countries | ID/Passport, MEU1 /MEU3 Document
c.  Citizens of non-EU countries | Passport, Residence card, MEU2 / MEU3 Document

The ICCID is a unique SIM card identification number. You can find it:

1.  On your SIM card the 19-digit number written on it

2.  By visiting an Epic store

Your registration is final. The deletion of your personal information is only possible in case your Epic PAYG connection is terminated.

a)  The owner is the person who is registered as the owner of the PAYG connection, with their identification details. After the completion of the registration process, the owner is automatically registered as the user as well, unless the owner notifies Epic through a solemn declaration, the personal details of the user of the connection. The owner is responsible of notifying Epic, in case there is a change of the person using the Epic PAYG connection.

b)  The user is the person who uses the line to make calls, send messages, or use mobile data, without necessarily being the owner of the connection. This definition includes underage persons. If the user is a different person from the owner, then a separate identification and registration process for the user must take place after the line has been registered.

Example: Sometimes, the owner and the user are different persons. An example of this, is the registration of a parent as the owner of the PAYG connection, and simultaneously, the registration of their child as the user of the PAYG connection.

The change of user of an Epic PAYG connection can only be completed in person, with the presence of both parties (the line owner and the new user), in an Epic store. Both parties must prescribe the required identification documents and the Solemn Declaration must be signed by the new user.

In order to transfer your number to the Epic network, you will need to provide acceptable identification documents, and your SIM card. After the transfer, you will need to proceed with the Registration of your Epic PAYG connection as it is mentioned above.
