The role:
We are looking for a motivated Trainee Store Supervisor to be based in Paphos. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating the store team to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer experience, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role drives performance, enforces operational standards, and ensures full alignment with company commercial strategy and brand values.
Your Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance Management
• Lead the store team to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance, taking proactive corrective actions where required
• Drive upselling, cross-selling, and overall commercial performance in line with company strategy
• Analyze store performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and improvement
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to maximize productivity and engagement
• Provide ongoing sales guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members
• Train and onboard new employees, ensuring strong product knowledge and sales capabilities
• Foster a high-performance and customer-focused culture within the store
• Prepare work schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
• Ensure delivery of a consistent, high-quality customer experience aligned with company standards
• Handle and resolve complex or escalated customer cases efficiently
• Monitor customer feedback and take corrective actions to improve satisfaction levels
• Promote company products and services in a professional and customer-centric manner
Operations & Store Management
• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations and full compliance with company procedures
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and brand guidelines
• Manage stock levels effectively in line with company policies
• Monitor and control cash handling processes, investigating discrepancies when required
• Take immediate action to resolve operational issues and ensure business continuity
Reporting & Communication
• Act as the key link between store employees and Management
• Communicate performance insights, operational issues, and improvement areas to the Area Manager
• Track team productivity and report on KPIs and store performance
• Support implementation of sales strategies and operational initiatives

Your Profile:
• University Degree or College Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, or related field will be considered an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment (telecom/technology preferred)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role will be considered a strong advantage
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
• Ability to analyze performance and take data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
• Basic knowledge of telecom (GSM) products and services
• Fluent in Greek and English (Russian will be considered an asset)
