The role:
We are currently looking for a talented Trainee Assistant Store Supervisor in Paphos. The successful candidate will support the Store Supervisor in the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer experience, strong sales performance, and smooth team coordination. The role combines hands-on sales activity with team support, coaching, and operational execution, contributing to the achievement of store targets and overall business objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience
• Deliver exceptional customer service to subscribers and prospective clients, ensuring a high-quality in-store experience
• Actively contribute to achieving store sales targets and KPIs
• Support the team in closing sales and handling complex customer interactions
• Follow up on difficult cases and ensure timely and effective resolution
• Ensure consistent implementation of customer service standards and company guidelines
Team Support & People Development
• Support the Store Supervisor in leading, motivating, and guiding the team
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees
• Provide ongoing coaching to improve sales performance and customer engagement
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide constructive feedback
• Promote product knowledge, sales techniques, and company values within the team
Operations & Store Management
• Support the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
• Assist in preparing staff schedules and organizing workload distribution
• Ensure store premises, visual merchandising, and assets are maintained to company standards
• Monitor and maintain stock levels in line with company policies
• Support cash handling processes and take corrective action when required
Performance & Reporting
• Track sales performance and team results, supporting the Supervisor in identifying improvement areas
• Follow up on team KPIs and contribute to corrective action plans
• Escalate operational or performance issues to the Store Supervisor when necessary
Process & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, and operational standards
• Support the implementation of sales initiatives and store-level action plans
• Contribute to maintaining a compliant, secure, and professional working environment

Your Profile:
• University Degree or College Diploma (Business Management, Marketing, Social or Economic studies) will be considered as an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment
• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role will be considered an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Sales-driven mindset with customer-centric approach
• Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of GSM technology and telecom services
