Broadband Homebox Service Upgrades

EPIC announces the following as its obligation according to Article 69 of the Law 112(I)/2004.  

As of 1st of October 2021,

• The Broadband Homebox 20 and Broadband Homebox 60 plans are renamed to Broadband Homebox 1 and Broadband Homebox 2 respectively.
• The included volume of the Broadband Homebox 2 plan increases from 350 GB to 500 GB.
• The reduced speed after consuming the included volume, as regulated by the Fair Usage Policy of the service is increased from 512kbps to 2Mbps

As of 1st of October 2021, the special terms and conditions of the Broadband Homebox, will be modified as follows, for all subscribers of this plan:

a.            The phrase ”inclusive data volume (350GB):” at clause 4 will be removed and replaced with the phrase “the included data volume that corresponds to each plan, Broadband Homebox 1 (350 GB) και Broadband Homebox 2 (500 GB):”

b.        The phrase “reduced speed of up to 512kbps.” at clause 4a will be removed and replaced with the phrase “reduced speed of 2mbps.”

The subscribers of the service will benefit from the aforementioned upgrades without any charge while maintaining the monthly fee as stated in their subscription contract.

Notes: 

1. The amendments will be published on the EPIC website www.epic.com.cy on the effective date.

2. In case of any Subscriber that does not accept any of the amendments, he/she has the right to terminate the Agreement without any penalty (except from any remaining installments for the purchase of any terminal equipment, which are immediately payable in case of termination), within thirty (30) days from 15 October 2021, by notifying Epic in writing stating that the reason of termination is the non-acceptance of the amendments.
